Artek Steel Personnel Door

 
Hangar Artek Steel Personnel Doors are tough enough to meet all applications. They are manufactured from premium quality stretcher-levelled wipe-coat galvanneal steel and are designed to wear hard and last long. The face panels are laminated to the core, and for added strength and durability, end channels are projection-welded to top and bottom channels on 75-100 mm centres. We work with 14, 16, 18 and 20 gauge wipe-coat galvanneal, G90 galvanized and stainless steel.

Our doors are used in a variety of applications including industrial and commercial buildings where security is paramount. They are also increasingly used on domestic garages along with our Garage Doors, adding extra security compared to traditional doors. By powder-coating the door to match your Garage Door colour, and using a variety of attractive hardware, the Hangar Artek Steel Personnel Door blends in with your home design.

Our doors also meet ESB specifications and may be used internally where vision panels may be incorporated to enhance the aesthetics of the doors appearance.

  • SURFACE BOLT REINFORCING Special reinforcing plates for Surface Bolt preparation can be installed


  • EDGE TABS Special Edge Tabs for Flush bolt preparation can be installed

    • DOOR FRAME

    We manufacture a full range of steel frames for 45mm doors. Standard profiles include: 120mm, 146mm, 171mm and 222mm. Double egress frames are also available.

    Note: We can custom-manufacture any throat size.

  • Frames available in 14, 16 & 18 gauge brake formed material

  • Frames are highly versatile and may be fixed to steel, wood or masonry.

  • Masonry frames can be supplied K0D (knocked-down) or welded and ground smooth at the mitres.

  • Standard dry-wall KD-DW frames available in 114, 143, 146 or 150mm jamb depths.

  • Jamb depths can be custom-manufactured to any specification.
    STANDARD FRAME

    Hangar Standard Steel Door Frames are available in 14, 16 & 18 gauge wipe-coat galvanneal steel and be manufactured to meet all architectural design specifications. Warnock Hersey Fire Labelling is available.

  • KD Frames have mitred corners

  • Welded corners are ground smooth and primed for an aesthetically pleasing finish.

  • A special tab holding system provides additional strength and locks the frame on position on the stud.

  • B Special mortar guards on hinge reinforcement to prevent mortar fill-in.

  • 10 gauge galvanised reinforcements add strength and help prevent sagging.

  • One-piece reinforcements are projection welded in place to increase strength and rigidity.

  • 16 gauge wipe-coat galvanneal floor anchor is welded in place for easier fastening.

  • 16mm stops provide a large surface for weather stripping

  • Frame is prepared for silencer bumper holes

  • Hinge NRP, (non-removable pin) ball bearing type.
