Hangar demands quality materials for the Hangar Maviswing doors. We have chosen for High Density Polyethylene 500 (HDPE) - a material recognised in the food and meat industries for it's resilience, density and great strength - the best for your swing door panels.

The Hangar Maviswing impact single or double swing doors are durable and attractive. HDPE 500 is unaffected by extreme low temperatures.

The Hangar Maviswing doors are particularly suited to the requirements of dairies, food factories, etc.

They withstand chemical disinfectants and are easily washed down or steam cleaned.

Mechanical and Chemical Durability

Unique HDPE 500 Panel Construction:

The 15 mm thick panels are of a monolithic moulded construction.

The lateral spine reinforcements - 40 mm thick - are polyfused with the panels into a one piece construction.

The seal strength of the Hangar Maviswing door lies in our exclusive back-edge pund and spine assembly by polyfusion process, giving rigid strength to withstand knocks without sagging or denting. The result is a non-porous smooth surface and a seamless finish. The panel will not absorb moisture and makes the door easy to be cleaned. The panel remains a good fit once installed.

Quality choice of door frames. The frame can be made either of a 4 mm thick reinforced rigid plastic profile or alternatively of a heavy duty "U" shaped 1.5 mm thick AISI 304 stainless steel profile.

Standard features incorporate silicon sealing gaskets on three sides for additional sanitary safety.

Vision panels, 15 mm thick, are smooth and seamless, avoiding bacterial growth and are easily washable.

Teardrop bumpers: Coloured polyethylene teardrop bumpers: a specially designed arch protecting the panel surface - standard RAL colours available or AISI 304 stainless steel bumpers.

Installation and Clearance

Fitting doors onto masonry within the clear bay opening available - as shown below. Fitting doors onto insulating panels 60-80-90-100 mm thick with a reinforced rigid plastic frame - 4 mm thick or alternatively with a complete frame in AISI 304 stainless steel - 1.5 mm thick.

Patented Polyethylene hinges Exclusive double acting hinges, moulded in Food grade - HDPE 500 material with stainless steel spring - No lubrication required. No water retention areas, will not absorb moisture or harbouring bacteria, they do not swell, rot, warp or rust. Available in RAL colours to match your panel colour. Self closing or with 90° "stay open" device Option: Stainless steel hinges Unbreakable (unlike ABS hinges)

Wall Protection Strips

Ideal for protecting wall panels, corridors. Withstands heavy-duty impacts, durable and non-corrosive, washable.

The bevelled profile at the top and bottom of the strip prevents water retention and moisture.

To be fitted with screws, covered by screw head strip in various colours.

Supplied in the standard colour range.

Plinths or Wall Skirts

Ideal for protecting the bottom of walls

The profile is bevelled at the top to prevent water retention and moisture, and grooved at the bottom to fix a triangular profile (without screw), for fitting the plinths to finished floors.

The plinth is fitted onto the wall with screws and covered by screw head strips in various colours.

Supplied in he standard colour range.
